About The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Dave (Jay Baruchel) is just an average college student, or so it appears, until the sorcerer Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) recruits him as his reluctant protégé and gives him a crash course in the art and science of magic. As he prepares for a battle against the forces of darkness in modern-day Manhattan, Dave finds it is going to take all of the courage he can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

About Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 welcomes Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz (voice of Tim Allen) and the whole gang back to the big screen as Andy prepares to depart for college and his loyal toys find themselves in… day care! These untamed tots with their sticky little fingers do not play nice, so it’s all for one and one for all as plans for the great escape get underway. A few new faces-some plastic, some plush-join the adventure, including iconic swinging bachelor and Barbie’s counterpart Ken (voice of Michael Keaton), a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants (voice of Timothy Dalton) and a pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear called Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear (voice of Ned Beatty). Directed by Lee Unkrich, produced by Pixar veteran Darla K. Anderson, and written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Michael Arndt, Toy Story 3 is a comical new adventure.

Walt Disney Pictures

Walt Disney Pictures refers to several different entities associated with The Walt Disney Company:

Walt Disney Pictures, the film banner, was established as a designation in 1983, prior to which Disney films since 1954 were released under the name of the parent company, then named Walt Disney Productions. Another label, Touchstone Pictures, was created in 1984 to enable Disney to release films with a more mature content than those officially associated with the Disney name.

Walt Disney Pictures and Television, a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studio Entertainment and the main production company for live-action feature films within the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, based at the Walt Disney Studios, acquires and produces output that are released under the Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures banners. Their most commercially successful production partners in later years has been Jerry Bruckheimer, ImageMovers Digital, Spyglass Entertainment, Walden Media, Mandeville Films, and Yash Raj Films. Gunn Films

Animated features produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, ImageMovers Digital, and DisneyToon Studios are usually released by Walt Disney Pictures under the Disney banner. Exceptions include Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Nightmare Before Christmas which were originally released under Disney’s Touchstone imprint. These two films are also regarded as more like “Disney” films compared to other Touchstone films.
